About the Review Process:
All submissions are read by at least two members of the Reader Committee and a journal editor. All identifying information is removed from submissions before going to readers. Contributors can expect commentary from the committee on both the abstract/first few pages of the article proposal and on the first full draft. By design, our review process is dialogic; it is not a monologue of directions and/or corrections. Yes, there are certain conventions that must be adhered to, but we also want this to be a space where we are contributing to larger conversations within the field of writing studies.
Members of the Reader Committee and journal editors are able to submit for consideration in our journal; however, in fairness to all potential contributors, these submissions will be reviewed by a different UWP committee.
