Student Uses Digital Media and Rhetoric to Produce Inquiry Video
UWP Student Jason Matthews uses Vimeo to produce an inquiry video for UWRT 1102.
Former UWP student Christopher Winchester defends Ph.D. Dissertaion
On November 1, 2016 Christopher defended his dissertation entitled, “Use of an Interpretive Jewish Technique: The Function of Ps22 and Other Biblical Texts”.
Tentatively titled “Between Panel and Screen: Comics, the Future of the Book, and the Book of the Future”, the book explores the dynamic relatinoship between printed and digital texts as well as they each has to offer in a rapidly chaging new media environments.

New collection of poems from UWP Faculty member Barbara Presnell, “Blue Star”.
Blue Star is a story of war and its effect on family. The poems weave history, census and militar records, letteres, journals and other documents to tell the 100-year story of one Southern family.

The UWP Conference theme of Transcendant Literacies will excite both presenters and attendees alike with boundary-breaking ideas, presentations and workshops all topped off with a compelling keynote presentation.
